ARISTA - National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

Arista Qualifications

  • Applicants must have an overall weighted average of 92% or above on their transcript and 10 service points by the end of the Fall semester of their junior year.
 
  • Applicants must complete at least 10 hours of outside community service during their junior year. Service must be done without any monetary compensation.
 
  • Members must complete 10 hours of outside community service during their senior year.
 
  • Applicants must have completed 3 full semesters at Francis Lewis High School.
 
  • Applicants may only apply for Arista in junior year.
 
  • Applicants must demonstrate active school community service while as a member.
 
  • Members must maintain a 92%+ average in senior year on their transcript.
 
  • Members must have satisfactory attendance at Arista meetings.
